This patch updates Ultima 8 to version 2.12, bringing numerous bug fixes and enhancements to the game. It adds the Birthplace of Moriens (which had previously been absent), allows for targeted jumping (and also halts all floating platforms!) and introduces a number of shortcut keys. There are three versions of the patch: English, French, and German.

If you have the Ultima Collection CD, you probably won’t need these patches.

Also available is another patch released by Origin, which corrects AdLib support in Ultima 8.
